East Sutherland Wheelers Touring Rides May 2014

Sunday 4th May 2014. Ride leader - James

Meet at 10 am, Altnaharra, the parking area just before the Strath Naver/Strathmore junction.

Route - Altnaharra to Tongue on the A836, Tongue to Hope on the A838, Hope to Altnaharra along the Loch Hope road.  Some hills, approx distance 50 miles. Hardish route, Good level of fitness required.

Sunday 18th May 2014. Ride leaders – Mairi and Bryony

Meet at 10 am, the north end of Brora, across from Geddes at the old school building.

From Brora we will go out Moss Road and then out to Banacoil Bridge.  Those that wish to do the hill up to Sciberscross can do so with either Bryony or Mairi, the other group can head back the same route.  Mileage will be roughly 15-19 depending on choice. This is an easy route which is relatively flat, unless hill added at end.

Full ride details will be posted on the touring section of the forum a few days before the ride. Please check the forum before coming on the ride as route and details may change.
