The Highland Wildcat AGM held on 25th January was well supported with the majority of attendees being East Sutherland Wheeler Club Members. Thanks everyone!

Bruce Taylor and Ewen Pryde were appointed as new Directors. They will in conjunction with existing Directors William Sutherland and Chris Whealing develop a plan for the trail's management. As part of this process a meeting will be held to share the ideas and seek views from anyone interested. The date of the meeting once fixed will be advertised on this site.

Meanwhile the first initiative is already underway with the support of the Forestry Commission. A core group of six volunteers have agreed to undertake training to become equipped for trail inspections. Following on from this will be a campaign to encourage anyone wishing to volunteer in maintaining the trails for the benefit of the wider community to join a Highland Wildcat "Trail Fairies" Group.

Volunteer work has also commenced with vegetation cleared from Picts Path Trail and encroaching bushes cleared from Coconut Alley, Deer Hunter and Taylors Trails (Thanks William!).
