Here is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn and improve your road cycling skills and help you to improve fitness through group format, women’s only coaching sessions.
Scottish Cycling has teamed up with Scott bikes to run women’s specific coaching and racing practice. East Sutherland Wheelers is working with Scottish Cycling to run these coaching sessions in the East Sutherland area.
We are looking for at least 15-20 girls and women to make this exciting opportunity happen.
The coaching sessions will cover skills such as group riding, cornering and other general road skills as well as specific skills at cycling events.
ESW ladies spin cycle instructor, Amanda Wagstaffe commented ‘This a great opportunity to get involved ladies and gain confidence in your cycling. It is clear that ESW has a talented female membership and this is a perfect opportunity to help you develop your potential’
The sessions are aimed at women riders just starting out in competitive cycling so no experience of racing or time trials is needed just lots of enthusiasm. Coaching sessions would take place throughout February and March in East Sutherland, with a finale coaching event with other women across Scotland on 23rd & 24th March at Ingliston, near Edinburgh.
